01月 6th, 2008
It was really amazing, It was like a dream!
I released the video of FlipSilent on Youtube on Saturday night, and Last night before I went to sleep, about 200 viewers, and got about 20 emails requesting for the software.
And now, the third day after I released the video, more than 8000 viewers, and hundereds of emails. I really do not have the time to reply to each of you.
Also, I would like to thank Thomas Howe, Stephen Dark, David Reid, Pietro Paschino, David munoz villalba, Diego Manuel Alvarado Perez, Alberto Buora, Arnoud van der Giessen, gnocchi franco, Noel Faucher, Nick Raets, Madhu Gupta for their donations!
真的没有想到FlipSilent会这么受欢迎,明天一定要做一个中文版:-)

BUG in this version===>>>
this app has a little problem. It silents the phone when you turn it over when nothing is happening and when call is not coming . Like you have it on your pocket and it silents the phone
Hope this problem will solve in final version thnkz

The essense of FlipSilent is to silent the phone when you flip it over (Phone Screen down), In pocket, I think most of the people put the phone in a vertical way — the usb port part is down, which will not silent the phone.
Maybe I should add some sensitivity configurations.
Thanks for this

Phenomenal work! I finally got around to installing and reviewing this app and I have to say that you’ve done a terrific job. One comment for future development if I may: This app, like early version of rotateMe 2.0, seems to be very intensive in terms of battery drain. My N95-3 battery typically doesn’t lose any bars overnight but last night with this app running I lost 4 bars.
Perhaps you can incorporate an inactivity timer as Samir has done with rotateMe 2.0. I can set it so that if no activity is detected on the device for 30 seconds, the app will “sleep” until further activity is detected.
Just a thought! Again though, great work!
